In an historic ruling on June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court overturned the rulings of Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. America has lived for 49 years under the tyrannical bloodshed of Roe but God sent a Jubilee release for us and our children. We must not let that great answer to prayers go unnoticed. Pro-Life wins. This is the month to mark and remember God’s goodness to us.

The rainbow mafia has been trying to claim June for a long time. They have many corporations behind them shoving their agenda in everyone’s face. But the Dobbs ruling in June gives a legitimate and prominent way to push back. We should not let this opportunity go to waste to claim June as a celebration of life, God’s goodness to his people, God’s ordinance of marriage, and so much more. Claim June as Pro-Life Month.
- Being Pro-Life cuts to the heart of the Godless agenda
Celebrating Pro-Life month is a great way to cut to the center issue of our time. The godless world is trying to claim that the autonomous self is god. They want their lusts and desires to reign supreme. They are trying to reject the way God made the world: sexuality, gender, when life begins, the nature of being male and female, God’s design for marriage. It is all connected and the godless hate it. The Dobbs ruling is a reality check on their bloodlust. God is God and you are not. Celebrate June as Pro-Life month.
- Dobbs was a pivotal win
Dobbs was a historic and pivotal win that we should celebrate and promote. This was the first major touchdown for the Pro-Life side in many decades. We must also recognize that it is not the final victory in the game. A celebration is appropriate for this work because the momentum is on our side. This is like David taking out Goliath. Israel still has to fight the Philistine army but the first big giant is down. We are on the offensive now. Currently there are about 20 states that have outlawed and/or heavily restricted abortions. That is great news for life. There are still many states that need to outlaw abortion so we are not done. But we can thank God for what He has done as we run to the next fight.
- We win by what we celebrate
The secularists know that we win by what we celebrate. If we want more victories like Dobbs then we need to step up our celebrations. Encourage our senators, encourage our lawmakers, encourage our governors, encourage our pastors. Throw parties, have celebration marches, Pro-Life parades, sermon series, church celebrations, fire works, poppers and streamers. This is what we want. We want preborn life protected, we want godly marriage protected. As the kids say: “Say it louder for those in the back.”
- Pursue the enemy
In a battle, the concept of pursuit is just as important as the initial win. After David killed Goliath, Israel still had to pursue the Philistines. If Israel had let up and backed off, then the Philistines could have regrouped and taken back the momentum. It wasn’t enough for David to take out Goliath, the army of Israel had to step up and fight the battle. Don’t let up on the Philistines now, pursue the enemy. Pro-Life Month is a great way to galvanize the troops for the next fight.

Historically, June has been the month to celebrate what God designed marriage to be: one man and one woman. This reality and history is thick in June. This is why most weddings happen in June. It is not an accident that the rainbow mafia is trying to claim June. They understand a strategic point in the battle. But with the Dobbs ruling on June 24, 2022, we have a clear reason and purpose for claiming June for the Pro-Life side. No matter how much the godless cry, June is God’s time and He is in control of reality and nature. We celebrate what He has done in making us male and female and in giving us marriage and life. We celebrate that God owns June.
So claim June as Pro-Life Month. Celebrate it with parties and poppers. Cigars and drinks. Psalms and hymns. God is a God who delivers. We are winning and they can’t stop us. That’s what June means.
