How to Threaten the Iranian Regime

The increasing growth of Christianity in Iran is viewed as a threat to Iran’s regime, whose strategy is to eliminate any potential challenge to its sovereignty, Clay told TGC. However, their approach appears to be having opposite effect. An Iranian pastor recently told International Christian Concern that rather than fighting persecution, “Iranian church leaders have accepted it and are using it to their advantage. In fact, the church is thriving under persecution.”

Gary Johnson’s Critique of Newt Gingrich on Drug Legalization

“On drug policy alone, I am beginning to see what Rick Santorum means when he talks about the former Speaker having an idea a minute,” Johnson surmised. “We are talking about millions of Americans’ lives here, and having positions ranging from embracing medical marijuana to the death penalty for possessing a small amount of that same substance is astounding both in its hypocrisy and its inconsistency.”

Christian Political Party and Abraham Kuyper

McKendree Langley observes that though Kuyper desired a Christian political party in the Netherlands, yet it is no longer reasonable to expect such in the United States. Why is this the case? No reason is given. Politics has essentially been given over to be used by any other religious expression, but Christianity. This perspective is incoherent.

Much of modern political discussions find a parallel in the ecclesiastical discussions about reforming or re-starting. Many in the Anglican tradition attempted to reform their churches from within, while others attempted to re-start. There is a valid thrust in both approaches. There is a strategic model that can be contextualized. However, the goal is still a Christian political party.<>cheat-na-dengi.comпродвижение а с нуля

Messianic Force

‎”And don’t let anybody make you think that God chose America as his divine, messianic force to be a sort of policeman of the whole world. God has a way of standing before the nations with judgment, and it seems that I can hear God saying to America, ‘You’re too arrogant! And if you don’t change your ways, I will rise up and break the backbone of your power, and I’ll place it in the hands of a nation that doesn’t even know my name. BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.” -MLK

Martin Luther King Jr. and Civil Disobedience

In light of the life of Martin Luther King, here is an exceptional video from that great defender of human rights and opponent of the unjust Vietnam War:

The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in a period of moral crisis maintain their neutrality. –Dante

There comes a time when silence is betrayal. –MLK

‘The western arrogance of feeling that it has everything to teach others & nothing to learn from them is not just.’ ~Martin Luther King Jr, 1967

Rick Perry’s Oops Moment

I confess I either watched or followed closely all thirteen (?) debates so far. I love them. I am addicted to them. On the other hand, too much attention is given to them, which shapes the entire media’s perspective. Unfortunately, the media shapes much of public perception.

Rick Perry was a force to be reckoned when he entered the race. In September, Perry had a lead over Romney. Today there is debate whether he meets the criteria to be a part of the next debate before votes in South Carolina.  My friend, Daniel Alders, has written a fine letter to the Texas Governor. He stresses that Perry does not need to attack Romney with childish arguments, but rather stand on his own merit as governor.

Perry’s downfall began with his infamous oops moment. That brief minute was catastrophic for Perry’s future. The inability to remember the third agency essentially destroyed Perry’s bid for president. The latest polls show him far behind in South Carolina. Perry needs a miracle, otherwise, South Carolina is his last stand.<>olike.orgцены на оптимизацию ов
