Ron Paul Podcast #1 – Beginning the Conversation

Welcome to our first Ron Paul Podcast. This is an attempt to begin a conversation on the Ron Paul candidacy. “Voting for Ron Paul just makes sense.” This is a comment I have heard and read in many places. As Paul’s libertarian ideas become more popular in the mainstream, we need to always take a step back and consider why they are becoming so popular. My contention is that Paul’s ideas resonate with most Americans. Any American who cares just a little about the future needs to be interested in Ron Paul. I say the future because Ron Paul is not going to be the president of quick-fixes. He is going to be the president of the future. One who will look the US debt in the eye and begin a systematic undoing of years of poor planning. The Keynesian model has failed, and if the Austrian school is not the perfect solution, it has at the very least the beginnings of a good solution. As Ron Paul has said recently: “We as a country have lived with bad economic policies for a long, long time,” said Paul.” The Congress runs up deficits, whether it’s for the welfare entitlement system or the militarism of the world. (The Federal Reserve) is there to monetize it and just perpetuate the problem.”

We need a radical man to bring about radical change. Ron Paul is the man to do this. He has the experience, the method, and the knife to perform the right surgery the government needs.
